In some instances, it may be possible to deliver some training in 2 halves. Session 1 for new Councillors to provide a foundation followed immediately by a session for all which will provide a refresh and top up for existing Councillors as well as new Councillors. Do you think this approach would be effective?

There are some committees which require certain training in order for a member to participate in such as Licencing and Planning. Do you think it would be beneficial for all members to attend such training whether or not they sit on those committees?
